Much more than just a passing trend, extensions are as essential to the art of hairstyling as cuts and colour: they can give you the look of your dreams in an instant! Celebrities often use them to change their look for a role, so why shouldn’t you use them to change your look, too? But be careful – you might just get hooked!

For extensions, it’s important to book with a certified salon. It’s not the method or type of extension you use, it’s the expert who applies them and how you look after them that matters. At local B, we have been hair extension specialists for over 17 years. Your hair quality and health is our highest priority.

Each extensions appointment begins with a preliminary consultation to determine the compatibility of your hair, your ability to maintain them and above all, the colours and lengths to use during application. We require a down payment of half the total cost on the day of your consultation so as to order your extensions.

We use Great Lengths extensions, a supplier who uses strands of human hair imported from India. These extensions can be used to thicken, lengthen or add colour effects to your hair. They last from three to six months.

Extension Maintenance

It is very important to use the products advised by your expert, including a pneumatic brush for extensions available at local B so as not to tangle or dry out your extensions. We recommend that you book an appointment with your local B expert every six weeks for a touch-up and to ensure that all extensions are still well-attached. We also recommend a Kérastase Fusio-Dose treatment during your routine maintenance visit to simulate natural oils that are not easily absorbed by extensions.
