Kérastase's Première Sérum Filler Fundamental treatment is a leave-in serum for internal repair of all types of damaged hair, to reveal shiny and supple hair.

Because hair is highly porous, treated hair absorbs three times more calcium from water than untreated hair. This excess calcium visibly damages the hair both inside and out. Kérastase's Fundamental Filler Serum works in two ways: its lightweight balm texture seals the cuticles to protect the hair's surface while simultaneously filling the hair fiber and strengthening it. Hair is protected from damage caused by calcium in hard water, as well as by humidity and heat (up to 450°F). Frizz is eliminated, and hair is left smooth, supple, and manageable.
